Macy*s Photo Studio

May 4th 2016, we visited the Macy's Photo & Content Studio located at the Factory Building in Long Island City. Macy's, Nat Ward Photographer spoke about his work at this prestigious company and his career as a independent photographer. Nat is in charge to produce high-quality product photographs in collaboration with staff Stylists and Art Directors for Macys.com. He also photographs men's, baby, and kid's apparel as well as handbags, and shoes. He develops on-set and studio-wide tools and guides to increase efficiency and final image quality. Post production is part of Nat's work. He makes color-correct, retouch, and re-size final images for upload.

As independent photographer, Nat Ward shoots products, lifestyle, jewelry, art exhibitions, private art collections, commercial and residential architectural projects. His client list includes: Victoria's Secret, Tashen, Tesla Motors, Bernard Tschumi, The National Museum of American Jewish History, Colin Cowie Lifestyle, Room East, UntitledNY, Bose Pacia, and Sciame Construction Co.
